How to Delete Your Account

You can request deletion of your Asroi account and all associated personal data by following the steps below. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Step 1 — Request via Email

Send an email to support@asroi.in from your registered email address with the subject line: "Account Deletion Request". Include the following in your email:

  • Your full name as registered on Asroi.
  • Your registered phone number.
  • Reason for deletion (optional).

Step 2 — Verification

We will verify your identity to ensure the request is made by the account owner. You may be asked to confirm a one-time code sent to your registered phone number or email address.

Step 3 — Processing

Once verified, your account deletion will be processed within 7 business days. You will receive a confirmation email when the deletion is complete.

What Data Gets Deleted

Upon account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed:

  • Your profile information (name, email, phone number, profile photo).
  • Your property listings and saved properties.
  • Your booking history and rental agreements.
  • Your messages and conversations.
  • Your notification preferences and settings.

What Data May Be Retained

Certain data may be retained for a limited period as required by law or legitimate business needs:

  • Payment transaction records — retained for up to 5 years as required by financial regulations.
  • Records necessary to resolve ongoing disputes or legal claims.
  • Anonymized or aggregated data that cannot identify you personally.

Active Bookings or Agreements

If you have active rental bookings or agreements at the time of your deletion request, we recommend completing or terminating those arrangements before requesting deletion. Deletion of an account with active bookings may affect the other party involved in the rental agreement.
